The Creator

Let’s say that today you want to want to be productive on your electronic device, be it your mobile device or computer.  Rather than spend countless, unproductive time on social media, you decide that you want to learn about something or someone. You stare at the blank page on the search engine as you ponder your choices.  Got it, you enjoy reading blogs and visiting sites on WordPress, and you start there.  So you search for the details on who started the site and nothing populates. So you think, well that is odd.

Okay, how about Grok? So you search online and find nothing on the details on who developed the artificial intelligence search engine, even though you know who it is.  So you try it again and you search who developed Grok…and nothing.

Super odd, okay, what about Apple products. You know who developed the iPad and the iPhone and still you go to their site and search for the details and nothing populates. Okay, now, what is happening? How or why would these three organizations not have information on their own creators? How can these organizations deny that they exist without giving credit to the individuals who developed them? This does not make any sense, does it?

You are correct, this makes absolutely no sense! WordPress would not be available without the talents of Matt Mullenweg and Mike Little. Grok would not be available without the talents of Elon Musk and his team at xAI, and of course most of us know that the iPad and the iPhone were Steve Jobs’ special projects.  It would be completely foolish for these organizations and products to deny their developers existence and their origins.

Sadly, it is the same with many people.  We read in Scripture that God created light, He created plants and animals, and He created man and woman.  God created day and night, He created the sun and the moon, the stars and the planets, and He created the oceans and the waterways. Yet, so many people deny the very existence of their creator.  We have oxygen to breathe and fill our lungs every second of the day. Our hearts beat and blood flows through our veins and we have skills and talents which are God given because of His grace. Most importantly, God so loves us that He gave His Son, Jesus Christ, to mankind; He was born, lived, died on the cross and rose from the grave. He conquered sin and death for us and by His precious sacrifice, Jesus made it possible for us to have a way back to God.

If someone were to ask you, how did you get here, who created you…what would you say? Would you be like the online searches which came up empty of the truth or would you know for certain that you were created by the Lord, the best creator and developer ever known? Would you give credit to the Lord Jesus for His salvation or would you come up empty like a blank search page?  If you have never surrendered your heart and life to the Lord Jesus Christ, I invite you to do it today. God created you for His good and His glory, accept His gift of salvation.  Salvation is a free gift, it is a beautiful gift which you can freely accept, and yet, it cost Jesus everything because it cost Him His life.  The Bible teaches us that anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, that includes you.

Find a quiet spot or call a trusted friend to pray with you and for you. Repent of your sins, ask the Lord to forgive you, and give Him your heart. There is no sin which is too big for the Lord to forgive, He waits for you to call out to Him and give Him everything.  Pray a simple prayer to surrender your life to Him, repent and receive new life in Christ. Pray sincerely and give Him your life.  The prayer itself does not save you, you are saved by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He loves you with a pure love, much better and different than any human can love you. He will love you forever, and He will never leave you, ever.  Find a church in your area that preaches the Gospel and get into God’s Word, the Bible every day. Start off with a verse per day, then a chapter as your faith grows.  Read the book of Proverbs, one chapter for every day of the month. Read the book of John as you learn about the life of Jesus. Get into a Bible study class with your church and grow in your new spiritual walk of life.  Get to know your creator personally, and be ready to share your faith with those in your community.
